Five months after Ghana announced its plans, it is set to launch 5G services on Nov. 1.
TheNewsZenith reports that this is a significant step for the old Gold Coast country, aiming to become fully digital by 2030.
By that year, Ghana will provide fast and affordable mobile broadband to everyone, no matter where they are.
This rollout is made possible through a collaboration between the Ghanaian government and tech giants like Ascend Digital, K-NET, Nokia, Radisys, and Tech Mahindra.
All of them are working to build a solid digital infrastructure in the country.
As the launch date approaches, there’s a buzz about how 5G could transform daily life and open up opportunities across various sectors in Ghana.
