Dr Oluseye Ojo, Co-founder of Gotocourse, made a presentation on the AI Divide during the launch.

He enumerated lack of digital literacy, insufficient education and training, resistance to change and limited access to resources as factors that might leave people behind in this age of AI.

Other inhibiting factors are bias and discrimination, privacy and security concerns, age and generational gaps as well as disability and accessibility.

Ojo, however, listed strategies that will help to resolve the AI Divide as inclusive AI design, digital literacy programmes and diverse language/culture support.

Others are collaboration for accessibility and responsible AI development among others.

He stressed that these strategies would make AI more accessible, inclusive and responsible.
