Al-Hikmah Varsity gives scholarship to SS2 student

Authorities of Al-Hikmah University have expressed excitement with the victory of Miss Hikmah AbdulKareem, SS2 student, at the just concluded TVC Women Network debate organised for secondary.

Al-Hikmah Varsity, Vice Chancellor, Prof. Noah Yusuf and Founder, Chief AbdulRaheem Oladimeji(M) have expressed excitement with the victory of Miss Hikmah AbdulKareem SS2 student at the just concluded TVC Women Network debate organised for secondary.

Vice Chancellor, Prof. Noah Yusuf at a brief reception for the winner at Ilorin announced scholarship and automatic employment for the 14-year-old girl of Al-Hikmah University International School, Ilorin.

Yusuf also, on behalf of the founder of the University, Chief AbdulKareem Oladimeji, announced a gift of laptop to Hikmah.

The School Principal and her coach also received N50,000 cash each.

The VC said the university was proud of her success at the debate. This has brought glory to the Al-Hikmah University International School.

The school was established in 2021 as a feeder to the university by the current administration.

Yusuf said the occasion was a testimony to the university’s determination to expose its secondary school to quality training, inter-school debates and quiz competitions.

Al-Hikmah University International School competed with 20 other Secondary Schools in Kwara, to emerge victorious.

The School’s Principal said out of 107 entries submitted, Hikmah emerged as the overall winner, thus making the institution proud.

She thanked the founder, Chief (Dr) AbdulRaheem Oladimeji and the school management for supporting the feeder school, teachers and students.

Responding, the winner, Abdulkareem thanked everybody who contributed to her success and also the organisers of the TVC Secondary Schools debate.

AbdulKareem, a native of Reke in Asa Local Government of Kwara State, won N1 million and a tablet as the overall winner in the competition.
