FG provides 5m solar power connections in rural areas

The Federal Government is set to deploy five million solar power connections to communities, hitherto not connected to the national grid.

The government planned the electricity project under the ‘solar power Niger’ programme of the Rural Electrification Agency.

REA announced this during a forum, held in Abuja, to provide opportunities for investors to pitch financial offerings to developers.
