On Friday, Agricultural Ministers of Morocco and Cote d’Ivoire held talks in Berlin on strengthening agricultural cooperation between the two countries, Morocco’s official news agency MAP reported.

After meeting on the sidelines of the Berlin International Green Week, Moroccan Agricultural Minister, Mohammed Sadiki said both countries have many experiences to share in the agriculture sector.

Sadiki added that the two parties have agreed to exchange views on the water issue.

Morocco, which suffers from repeated droughts, has developed techniques to mobilise and save water by modernising irrigation systems, Sadiki told reporters.

Adjoumani added that Morocco is far ahead in water management and represents a model for Cote d’Ivoire, reported MAP. (Xinhua)
