The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC) Command, Bauchi, has arrested three suspected vandals and transformer cable thieves in the Jama’are LGA of the state.
The Command’s spokesman, DCP Ibrahim Gabdo, announced this in a statement on Friday in Bauchi.
Gabdo said the Command patrol team arrested the three suspects in different locations in the Jama’are local government area “sometime” in August.
According to him, the arrest followed intelligence reports that some criminals were vandalising transformer cables.

“The suspects are teenagers, whose ages ranged between 18 and 19 years (names withheld).
The NSCDC patrol team arrested them in the Ungwar Abuja and Unguwar Tsamiya areas of the LGA.
He said the Commandant, Mr Oyejide Ilelaboye, who paraded the suspected vandals warned other criminal elements to turn a new life before the law catches them.
