The management of the Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has postponed physical resumption of all new and returning students by two weeks.
The College Registrar, Dr Emmanuel Akinwale announced the postponement in a statement on Friday in Lagos.
TheNewsZenith quotes the registrar as tasking the students and parents to also discountenance rumours on fees circulated on social media.
”The College will announce authorised fees on itssoonest,” the Registrar further stated.
The management, however, stated that online screening of students would continue ahead of physical resumption.
”Physical screening will commence from May 13 in batches.
”Students are required to print out their slips and appear on their scheduled dates indicated therein.
”Students and parents are advised to be wary of scammers and ensure that they comply with instructions disseminated on College portal.
”All students and parents should also discountenance rumours on fees circulated on social media.
”This is as the College will announce authorised fees on College portal,” the statement read in part.
