This is coming two days into the devastating war on Israel.
At least nine Americans have died and others remain missing after the attack, a National Security Council spokesman told CNN.
Israel is striking back against Hamas in the Gaza Strip after the group launched the worst attack on the Jewish nation in 50 years, in the early hours of Saturday.
An estimated 700 Israelis have died and more than 2,000 sustained wounds while Hamas have allegedly taken 150 hostage.
Meanwhile, President Joe Biden will deliver remarks, on Tuesday, about the attacks in Israel.
This is amid mounting criticism that he has stayed out of public view since Hamas launched the attack.
Biden, 80, will deliver remarks at 1.00 p.m. on Tuesday, according to NewsNation.

On Monday, it became the second straight day Biden didn’t show face even as the State Department confirmed at least 11 Americans dead in the attack.
Overall, more than 900 people have been killed in Israel since the Palestinian armed group launched the surprise operation.
Biden spoke on camera Saturday afternoon, before staying out of public view.
He has only tweeted about the grave situation and through statements released by the White House.
