For luring a minor with roasted meat (Suya) and defiling her, a 50-year-old security guard will spend this weekend in a Correctional facility in Lagos.

An Ikeja Magistrates’ Court ordered that the guard, Mohammed Sanni, be remanded in the facility for allegedly defiling the 13-year-old girl.

The presiding Chief Magistrate, O.A. Layinka declined to take Sanni’s plea.

Instead, Layinka sent the case file to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) for legal advice.

She then adjourned the case until March 28, pending the DPP’s advice.
