President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of a new Executive Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer for the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI).
The new NASENI boss is Mr Khalil Halilu, 32. He replaces Dr Bashir Gwandu.
Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to President on Media and Publicity announced the appointment in a statement, on Friday in Abuja.
Halilu will serve for an initial term of five years in accordance with relevant sections of NASENI Act, 2014.
The government expects him to bring his wealth of experience as an innovator and technology expert to bear on the new responsibility.
The appointment is with immediate effect.
