The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has honoured a philanthropic organisation and a construction firm for their regular supportive services to the Force.
TheNewsZenith reports that the two entities Rosula Foundation and Nehemiah Grace Developers Ltd (NGDL) in recognition of their corporate sponsorships and support to the Force.
NPF gave the awards during a three-day Criminal Investigation workshop for detectives of Force Criminal Investigation Department Annex in Lagos.
The Group Managing Director of NGDL, retired Brig.-Gen. Emico Eruwa received the awards on behalf of the foundation’s Founder, Mrs Rosemary Osula Mku-Atu.
Mku-Atu is also the Executive Vice-Chairman of NGDL.
Commending the two organisations at the workshop, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun, expressed gratitude to Mrs Osula for consistently extending her humanitarian gestures to the NPF in all areas of need.
On the workshop, Egbetokun said the workshop signified a vital step at standardising law enforcement and policing in Nigeria.

According to him, the thrust of Force CID in Nigeria is founded on competence and professionalism.
“The capacity-building workshop is to provide initiative for personnel of the Force to respond to their mandate callings appropriately.
The Police boss encouraged participants to harness the gains of the workshop with an open mind, share experiences and embrace collaboration in discharging their duties.
Receiving the awards on behalf of the two organisations, Eruwa thanked the IGP for the honour.
He said the founder of Rosula Foundation was desirous to continue supporting the force “as a matter of patriotic obligation”.
