Osasona enters evangelism singing with a bang

Gospel singer, Evangelist Folu Osasona, is set to launch maiden album christened ‘My Heart Rejoices’, into the public domain on Sunday, Dec. 18.

The Ijowa-Ekiti-born musical aficionado cut her musical tooth at a tender age, singing soul-lifting gospel to massage depressed souls to the joyous realm in her locality as a pastime.

She has grown in feat and bounds, making tremendous waves in Nigeria and the global gospel music scene.

According to Osasona, gospel music is another way of spreading the gospel of God to lost souls.

“Whoever keying into that brand of evangelism should place soul winning before fame,” she said.

Osasona added that “it is God that gives fame that can last a lifetime”.

She will launch the album at the English Church Auditorium, Christ Apostolic Church, Agbala Itura, Olode, Ibadan.

The album is titled ‘My Heart Rejoices’.

The three-track album contains songs that minister directly to the soul with a soothing rhythm that turns listeners into an unquenchable quest for more.

She told journalists recently in Ibadan that“ the word of the Lord was rich.

“One, therefore, should give every glory to God for releasing the words into the world and for also in love, created us with series of talents, meant to illuminate and praise Him.

“I love music and I chose to sing music that edifies God, my creator.

“It is by conviction; God is the giver of life, and as such, He has given us everything,” Osasona said.
