…..Northern Governors pay tribute
The Northern States Governors’ Forum Chairman, Inuwa Yahaya, has felicitated renowned Islamic cleric, Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi on his 100th birthday anniversary.
TheNewsZenith quotes the NSGF’s Chairman as felicitating the Cleric, spiritual leader of Tijaniyya, in a statement on Tuesday in Bauchi.
Gov. Yahaya of Bauchi State described Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi as a towering figure in the Islamic world.
According to him, the Cleric is known for his profound knowledge of the holy Quran, Hadith and Fiqh.
He said the centenarian also has an understanding of the deeper spiritual aspects of Sufism and esoterics, which distinguished him as a spiritual guide par excellence.
“Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi’s teachings have transcended generations, enriching the lives of countless individuals through his deep and insightful exegesis of the sacred Qur’an.
“Throughout his life, he has remained a pillar and moral compass in our society,” the governor remarked.

NSGF Chairman commended the Tijaniyya leader for his relentless commitment to nurturing moral and spiritual values.
Such values, he said, have been instrumental in shaping the character and faith of his followers and offspring.
“His immense role in fostering unity, peace and religious tolerance is also unparallel.”
Yahaya noted that Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi’s centenary is a celebration of his life and a reaffirmation of timeless values.
His legacy anchors on the principles of integrity, humility and piety.
The governor prayed to Almighty Allah to continue to bless the Islamic cleric with good health and a long life to keep guiding the ummah.
