He explained that the foundation selected the beneficiaries from five universities.

The institutions are the University of Ibadan, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, University of Lagos and Lagos State University.

Experts from different fields nominated the beneficiaries, focusing on balancing faith with personal development and academic growth through consistent effort, among other topics.

The Chairman said the scholarships will also bridge educational gender inequality and challenge cultural biases against female education.

It will also promote national development through investing meaningfully in them, he added.

Ogunmuyiwa noted that the foundation “is investing in the future of the country because the girls would become mothers, who will train future leaders”.

”Properly trained women will help to build a better society.

”For a long time, females have been underestimated. But, giving them opportunities to excel academically and financially will inspire independence and reduce poverty.
