The Grand Khalifa of Tijaniyya, Sheikh Aminullah Akoshile, has urged Muslims in the Lagos State to re-elect Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu for a second term in office.
Akoshile made the appeal when he led a delegation of Tijaniyya leaders in Lagos State on a solidarity visit to the governor and his deputy, Dr Babafemi Hamzat at the weekend.
He said the performance scorecard of the SanwoOlu administration is replete with an impressive list of projects across all sectors of the economy.
The religious leader appealed to all Muslims and well-meaning Lagosians to vote Sanwo-Olu because he deserves a second term.
A second term, Khalifa said, will enable him to consolidate his developmental programmes.
He congratulated Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his divine victory as President-elect.

Akoshile noted that the re-election of Gov. Sanwo-Olu in Lagos would complement the Presidency of Asiwaju.
“It will also place Lagos at the mainstream of national politics,” he said.
The Shaeikh praised the Independent National Electoral Commission for organising a free and fair election.
Nigerians and foreign observers, he said, have adjudged the conduct of the elections to be excellent, despite some operational hiccups.
He, therefore, urged the electoral umpire and security agencies to forestall a repeat of the isolated cases of violence and malpractices as witnessed in certain parts of the country.
