Tinubu says his administration is implementing some critical initiatives. This is to equip the police with the tools and training to protect and serve the citizens.

Vice-President Kashim Shettima represented the President at the event.

Tinubu remarked that his administration had started acquiring new vehicles, communication equipment and forensic tools to enhance the crime detection and protection capabilities of the Police.

“Our government is working tirelessly to improve the quality of lives for all personnel and their families.

“A satisfied and well care for a police officer is essential to ensuring the safety and security of our people.

“We have also started a recruitment drive to address the issues of understaffing within the Police Force.
