Killing: Police confirm arrest of Chinese in Abia

For allegedly killing a crane operator, who denied him sexual advances, the Police in Abia State have arrested a Chinese expatriate Mr GZ Zhen.

TheNewsZenith gathered that Zhen is a Chinese expatriate at the Inner Galaxy Steel, Umuahala Asa, Ukwa West council area of the state.

The police spokesman in the state, ASP Maureen Chinaka, confirmed the arrest of Zhen.

Ocheze Ogbonna was a female crane operator in the same company.

Zhen allegedly attacked the late crane operator during a night shift duty at the company.

According to the Chinaka, the late Ogbonna sustained injuries from the attack, which led to her death.

The incident caused tension in the area as youths protested the death of the crane operator who also hails from the host community.
