The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Thursday, arraigned Hadi Sirika, former Aviation Minister on a six-count charges bordering on abuse of office and fraudulent contracts.
TheNewsZenith reports that the allegations included a N2.7 billion alleged fraud against the former Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development.
Sirika served under former President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
The anti-graft agency arraigned the former minister before Justice Sylvanus Oriji of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) High Court, Maitama Abuja.

Sirika faces the six-count amended charge along with three others, including his daughter, Fatima; Jalal Hamma and Al-Duraq Investment Ltd.
The Federal Ministry of Aviation, under Sirika, initiated and executed the controversial Nigeria Air project.
According to the charge sheet, EFCC accuse Sirika of using his position as the Minister of Aviation to fraudulently award contracts to his daughter, son in-law and associates.
It accused them of abusing their office and conspiring to commit the fraud of N2.7 billion.
Justice Oriji, however, granted the four respondents N100 bail each with two sureties in like sum.
