Lagos PDP Governorship Candidate, Abdul-Azeez Adediran, has assured residents of Epe that he would run a God-fearing government if elected.
Adediran, popularly called Jandor, gave the assurance while interacting with Imams and Alfas in the Ikosi Ejinrin Area of Epe Local Government on Sunday.
The Lead Visioner of the Lagos4Lagos Movement said his ambition was to liberate the people of the state from oppression.
The governorship hopeful said that his government would change the face of governance in the state if elected in 2023.
“We will run a God-fearing government.
“I will run people-oriented government and provide quality education for our children,” Jandor promised.

Responding, the President of the League of Imaam and Alfas in Epe, Abdulrahman Olatunji, urged eligible voters to collect their PVCs.
Olatunji also advised them to vote with their conscience to install a government that would cater for their well-being.
“We are satisfied with what you told us today; we want to believe that you will fulfil the promises made,” he said.
Meanwhile, Adediran, while addressing PDP supporters and members at the party’s secretariat in Agbowa-Ikosi, said his campaign would be taken to all the 245 wards in the state.
According to him, this would enable him to get familiar with the people and know their peculiar challenges.
Promising to prioritise the welfare of the people if elected, Jandor pledged to invest in education, infrastructure, security and youth development.
“Our government will be for the masses.
“Thank you for being worthy partners to our vision; we are building this together so that we can achieve together and benefit together,” he said.
He counselled residents not to sell their votes to moneybags, who would come to buy their conscience.
Adediran pleaded with the electorate to vote for PDP candidates at the national and state elections.
Non-Yoruba Community
In another engagement with Non-Yoruba speaking community in Epe, Jandor assured the non-indigenes of his commitment to protect their interest.
“I will not take your sources of livelihood, I will rather support you. It will be our government.
“I will fix the public schools, give uniforms to your children and local tailors will sow the uniforms.
“So, there will be no need to send your children to private schools,” he said.
Adediran added he would ensure contractors employ 30 per cent of the youths in each area to empower the youth.
The campaign train has visited Alimosho, Badagry, Ojo, Amuwo-Odofin and Lagos Mainland Local Government Areas.
