The Police in Oyo State Command say they arrested 207 suspects for various offences between January and December.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, paraded 38 crime suspects on behalf of the Commissioner, Adebola Hamzat in Ibadan.
Osifeso told newsmen that officers of the command nabbed 38 crime suspects in different operations in December alone.
According to him, the command also recovered 46 motorcycles and 50 vehicles during the outgoing year.
Similarly, the command succeeded in recovering 721 rounds of ammunition and 108 firearms from the suspects.
The PPRO assured residents of the Police commitment to rid Oyo State of crime and criminality.

Osifeso said operatives of the command leveraged credible intelligent reports to be able to apprehend the hoodlums.
“The Police Command is pleased to inform residents that within the past five months, it has recorded significant successes in reducing crime rates across the state.
“We attained this through a combination of intelligence-led operations, community engagements and proactive policing,” the PPRO said.
The command’s efforts reflect a strategic approach to ensuring the safety and security of residents through diligent law enforcement measures, he added.
