Chief Diana Chen Foundation has granted scholarships to 25 outstanding Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech) students for an 18-month automotive engineering training in China.

This initiative promises to transform the career prospects of the selected students from the institution. It would propel them into the forefront of automotive engineering through an 18-month intensive course in China.

Hangzhou Vocational and Technical College in China, CIG Motors Company Ltd. and the Consul-General of the People’s Republic of China are supporting the programme.

The foundation says it will focus on nurturing Nigeria’s talent and fostering international collaboration in the pursuit of excellence.

It selected mechanical engineering students, with a remarkable GPA of 3.0, to benefit from the training in China.
