Principal bags merit award in Orile-Agege

Lagos State Government Education District 1 has conferred Merit Award on the Principal of Orile-Agege Community Junior High School, Oko-Oba, Agege, Alhaja Risqot Mumuni.

TheNewsZenith reports that the District presented the award and gifts to Mumuni, on Thursday, July 4.

The presentation culminated in the  celebration of the District’s 16th Annual Merit Award for 2022-2024.

Mrs Mumuni was named  the First Runner-up Best Principal in Junior category at the event.

The theme of the event is
“Diversity and Inclusion in Education: Celebrating Diversity, Equity and Inclusion”.

TheNewsZenith reports that the programme also featured several other awards like the  Best School, Best HOD and Best Teacher among others.etc.

Awards of recognition were also given to Local Government and Local Councils Development Authorities chairmen, NGOs, retired principals and students also received awards of recognition.
