Attempted armed intrusion at Belgian PM’s office

Brussels, Jan. 6, ’25 (Xinhua/TNZ) A knife-wielding man attempted to breach the premises at 16 Rue de la Loi in Brussels, the office of the Belgian prime minister, on Monday morning.

The suspect was swiftly apprehended by military police on site, Belgian authorities confirmed.

Officials said the individual threatened military personnel before being subdued.
