Lagos, March 4, ’25 (TNZ) The Tinubu Media Volunteers (TMV) has applauded President Bola Tinubu’s administration for the flag-off of the dualisation of sections two to four of the Ekpoma-Auchi-Okpella-Okene-Ajaokuta expressway.
The group’s Chairman Chukwudi Enekwechi and Secretary Shadrach Sunday, gave the applaud in a statement e-mailed to TheNewsZenith, on Tuesday, in Lagos.
TMV noted that the move has brought hope to motorists using the road linking Edo and Kogi states.
“We note that the Minister of Works, Sen. Dave Umahi, stated that the road construction was in line with the Tinubu’s commitment to making roads across the country motorable.
“TMV is of the view that with the flag off the dualisation work, motorists moving to the western, eastern and northern parts of the country would heave a sigh of relief.
“It will also enhance economic activities for residents of Kogi and Edo States living along the road corridor.

“The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had abandoned this road project for several years.
“It’s despite huge capital allocations committed to it,” TheNewsZenith quotes from the statement.
It commended the minister for crystallising the vision of President Tinubu through the construction of road infrastructure in the country.
“Over the years, PDP government had abandoned this road. And, it became a source of inconvenience and frustration to road users.
“But finally, the Tinubu administration is changing the narrative with emphasis on leaving a lasting legacy of quality roads.”
The group urged Nigerians to continue to support the Tinubu administration in its efforts to rebuild the country’s road infrastructure.
