The remains of Gen. Donaldson Oladipo Diya, a former Chief of General Staff and Military Governor of Ogun State, will be buried on July 29.
Olawale Adekoya, the Special Adviser on Media and Strategy to Diya, announced this on Wednesday in Lagos.
The NewsZenith reports that the former CGS died on March 26 aged 78.
The funeral rites would begin on July 26 with the Night of Tribute, while Service of Songs and Christian Wake would hold on July 27 and July 28, respectively.
“The final burial rites will hold on July 29 with the church service, interment, reception and final laying to rest.
“The thanksgiving service will hold on July 30.
“Further details will be made available in due course,” Adekoya stated.
