Lagos, April 3, ’25 (TNZ) Two faith-based organisations put smiles on the faces of 100 indigent families to celebrate the Eid-Ul-Fitri last weekend in Lagos, TheNewsZenith reports.
The organisations, the Fourteenth Moon Foundation (FMF) and the Lekki Muslim Ummah (LEMU), jointly organised the welfare packages for the families.
TheNewsZenith reports that the package contains one live chicken, packets of spaghetti and a sachet of vegetable oil.
Speaking at the occasion, Ustaz Qosim Badrudeen, the CEO of the FMF, said the gesture was part of the foundation’s efforts to relieve hardship for the indigents during the Eid festival.
Badrudeen tagged the programme as “putting Smiles on the Faces of Indigents during Eid”.
“At this programme, we distributed live chickens, sachet vegetable oils and spaghetti to the indigents.

“The spaghetti and the sachet vegetable oil came from the LEMU Welfare committee,” TheNews Zenith quotes Badrudeen as saying.
He noted that the indigents were joyful as they received these packages to cushion the current economic hardship effect.
FMF chief added that about 100 families benefitted from the programme. He called on all well-meaning Nigerians to support such an impactful project.
