An Israeli quadcopter, on Sunday, dropped leaflets with sticks of cigarettes over the tents of displaced people in southern Gaza as bait for information on the whereabouts of Hamas fighters.

Each of the leaflets had single cigarettes attached, with a message.

The message is that people who call a number with information about fighters in Gaza would receive more tobacco. (Al-Jazeera)

Here’s some footage that has been shared from Gaza:

Following this development, TheNewsZenith reports that some ‘X’ users have taken to social media to condemn the Israeli’s act of criminality.  inducing Palestinians to divulge information about the Hamas freedom fighters.

Reacting, an ‘X’ user, @navedyar_khan tweeted that the world knew that the freedom fighters were in tunnels while war criminals were dropping bombs on homes, hospitals, mosques, churches and refugee camps.

“@IntlCrimCourt is threatened by corrupt American senators to not arrest the criminals in Israel and unfortunately @IntlCrimCourt is scared,” Khan said.

Another ‘X’ user, @SiyaaBackup, remarked that Israel had created a smoking pandemic in Gaza.

This, he tweeted, was because of the brutal occupation and negative prospects for the Palestinian youth.

“Israel created a smoking pandemic in Gaza because of the brutal occupation and negative prospects for the Palestinian youth.
“They’re poor, out of work and have no freedom: they turn to cigarettes to deal with all of the stress. The cancer rate is high because of this,” SiyaaBackup tweeted.

Arthur @ArthurX1122 also tweeted “who would trust a cigarette from Israel? No telling what it’s laced with”.
