A businessman, Anthony Domi, on Thursday, told a Customary Court in Nyanya Abuja, that his wife, Ella Obiora, was accusing him of impregnating her maid.
The respondent said this in his defence, in a divorce petition filed by his wife.
“I impregnate the young lady due to an agreement between me and my wife, which was an alternative we chose instead of adopting a child.
“My wife made me do it,” he said.

The petitioner, Mrs Ella Obiora, had earlier told the court that she had not been able to conceive a child in their marriage.
She also told the court, that her husband had been sleeping around with other women, with a view to having a child.
She said in spite of it all, she had been faithful to her husband from the beginning of their marriage till now.
The presiding judge, Doocivir Yawe, adjourned the matter until March 15, for further hearing.
