The Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB) has set a five-day recruitment exercise from July 22.

TheNewsZenith gathered that the computer-based test (CBT) exercise is for applicants who recently applied for a primary school teacher’s job.

Dr. Nureni Adeniran, the Chairman of OYOSUBEB announced the examination date in a statement on Wednesday in Ibadan.

According to the statement, the board accepted the applications of 50,097 teachers, who applied for the job.

Adeniran stated that the board ”is already communicating specific dates and times to individual applicants via their email and phone numbers.

He, therefore, advised applicants to check their communication channels, with which they applied, for confirmation.

The venue of the recruitment examination is the University of Ibadan Distance Learning Centre, CBT, Ajibode, Ibadan.

”The Board has approved the University of Ibadan Distance Learning Centre, Computer Based testing centre, to conduct the computer-based tests for the applicants.

”This is because of the centre’s long-standing pedigree in such examinations,” TheNewsZenith quotes the board as stating.

Adeniran directed applicants to print copies of their CBT examination schedule and application printouts bearing their passports from the job portal.

He said the two printouts will admit applicants into the CBT examination hall.

OYOSUBEB boss warmed applicants to adhere strictly to the time and date sent to them, as the board will not condone loitering around the centre.

“Successful candidates from the computer-based tests will be called for oral interview.
