The Supreme Court, on Thursday, dismissed the appeal by former Vice President and Presidential candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar against President Bola Tinubu.
Atiku is seeking to nullify the Feb. 25, presidential election, which Tinubu won.
Atiku through his lawyer, Chris Uche, accused President Tinubu of forgery concerning his academic records from the Chicago State University.

After a rigorous suit in the United States, Atiku obtained Tinubu’s academic records, which he filed at the Supreme Court to prove his forgery allegation.
The presidential election court had s rejected the record that Atiku presented against Tinubu.
Also, Peter Obi’s lawyer, Livy Uzoukwu, urged the Supreme Court to nullify the presidential election court decision and declare Mr Obi the winner of the election.
There were seven issues in Obi’s appeal against the decision of the PEPC that affirmed Tinubu’s victory.
The seven-man panel of Justices led by John Okoro Inyang said the court had already dealt with issues 1, 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7 in the ruling on Atiku’s appeal.
However, President Tinubu’s lawyer, Wole Olanipekun, INEC’s lawyer, Abubakar Mahmoud, and APC’s Akin Olujinmi, asked the Supreme Court to dismiss the appeals and affirm Tinubu’s victory.
The panel had resolved all the seven issues distilled for determination in favour of Tinubu.
It stated that the appeal lacked merit and upheld the decision of the lower court.
