A 58-year-old woman, Busayo Komolafe, on Thursday, appeared before a Badagry Chief Magistrates’ Court, Lagos for allegedly stealing property valued at N400,000.
The defendant, whose address was not given, is being charged with felony and stealing.
Komolafe, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The Prosecutor, ASP Clément Okuiomose, told the court that Komolafe committed the offences at about 5.22 p.m. on April 27, at Ikoga, Badagry, Lagos.
Okuiomose said that the defendant conspired with others now at large, to break into the house of the complainant, Omolara Ogunsola.

He said the defendant stole household property valued at N400,000 belonging to the complainant.
The offences contravened Sections 411 and 287 of the Criminal Law of Lagos state, 2015.
The Chief Magistrate, Mr A.J. Aina, granted Komolafe bail in the sum of N500,000 with two sureties in like sum.
Aina adjourned the case until May 27, for mention.
