The Collective Movement (TCM) has felicitated former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, who recently turned 78, urging him to contest the presidential election again in 2027.
TheNewsZenith reports that TCM, a socio-political group, said in a statement that Atiku “remains Nigeria’s only hope for an authentic change”.
A media consultant and TCM’s Director of Media Mr Edwin Nwachukwu, signed the statement.
Wishing Atiku the best birthday celebration, the group described him as a beacon of hope to the people of Nigeria.
“Atiku is a team leader who has helped to encourage and support many to achieve their dreams in all spheres of life.
“He is a national treasure, nation builder and experienced leader.
“The ex-VP is a bridge across the nation and the only candidate to unite Nigeria.
“The lion of Jada rose from grace to greatness and he loves his country and all people with all his heart. He bears no hate toward tribes.
“He loves education and has awarded thousands of scholarships to numerous others regardless of tribe and state of origin or religion,”.
‘’Atiku is the only person who knows what it means to be poor and rich,’’ High Chief Franklin Ekechukwu, the founder of TCM said in the statement.

Ekechukwu noted that Atiku’s recent powerful advice to the current administration indicated his passion and love for a better Nigeria
TCM founder, however, stated that Atiku Abubakar, who has hinted at his intention for 2027, urged Peter Obi to also make his intention known as soon as possible, for a joint ticket with Atiku.
He urged other party leaders and well-meaning Nigerians to join Atiku to rescue Nigeria and the downtrodden in 2027.
He added that the Labour Party Presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections remained a force in the hearts of millions of Nigerians.
“Obi is a mentor and leader whose combination with Atiku can help to salvage the nation.
“Both Atiku and Obi are experienced businessmen and successful politicians. They have won many victories through their bravery and resilience.
“With Nigeria’s economy in shambles, it will take a statesman, who is passionate, intelligent and calm under pressure.
“We are convinced that experienced leaders like Atiku Abubakar, can pull Nigeria out of the precipice,” TheNewsZenith quotes as stating.
