Port Harcourt, Sept. 11, ’26 (TNZ) The game of Teqball featured prominently at the 2026 edition of the Nigeria Bar Association football competition recently held in Port Harcourt.
TheNewsZenith reports that the tournament took place at the Real Madrid Academy Stadium, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The tournament, tagged “President’s Cup, featured players who were mainly members of the NBA from the 36 states and the FCT.
The game took place concurrently with the 66th NBA Annual General Conference held between m Aug. 21 and Aug.28.
Throughout the competition, the Rivers Whales Teqball team taught and engaged several interested NBA players in the game.

Rivers Whales athletes also had the opportunity to perform during half-time of both the male and female football finals.
Halim Adebola Zaccah, Chairman of the Rivers State Teqball Association (RIVTEQ), used the opportunity to explain the game’s techniques to the thrilled audience.
Coming next, the Rivers Whales are preparing for the Inaugural National Intermediate Games slated for Lagos State.

In the games, slated for between Oct. 1 and Oct. 15, the Teqball team will feature as a medal game amongst 29 sports.
