The National Chairman of the Labour Party, Comrade Julius Abure has predicted a comfortable win for the British Labour Party in the national election, coming up this weekend.
TheNewsZenith reports that Abure made the prediction in a solidarity message to the British Labour Party (BLP).
LP National Publicity Secretary, Mr Obiora Ifoh, issued the press statement on the solidarity message, on Tuesday in Abuja.
Nigeria LP addressed the message to BLP leader, Sir Keir Rodney Starmer.
LP Chairman assured the BLP of a resounding victory at the poll.
TheNewsZenith gathered that BLP has many Nigerians as members.
The statement quoted Abure as saying that based on an unbiased assessment of unfolding events in the electoral process, the BLP would have a landslide victory to form the next government.
“We profoundly express our solidarity to you and your entire team as you proceed to the general election in the United Kingdom.
“There is great assurance based on our unbiased assessment of unfolding events in the electoral process.
“The British Labour Party will have a landslide victory to form the next government.
“It has consistently, provided a progressive opposition in the last fourteen years. This has put the Conservative Party on her toes.”

BLP, he stated, has lived up to expectations as the Leader of the Opposition, since 2020.
“You have demonstrated a high level of statesmanship and transformative leadership at the Parliament.
“This gives you a comparative advantage over Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who is also the Candidate of the Conservative Party.”
Abure stated that this has put the British Labour Party in a comfortable lead in public opinion and the ongoing electoral process.
“The July 4, 2024 election is a decisive moment in the history of Democracy in the United Kingdom.
“It is a decision between an unstable neoliberal economy policy and a progressive regulated market economy which is people-centred and transformative.
“Nigerian Labour Party shall continue to strengthen the bond of solidarity with the British Labour Party.
“To guarantee transformative governance and prosperity for the Citizens of both Countries through the shared principles and ideology of Social Democracy,” TheNewsZenith quoted the LP as stating.
