A Chieftain of the APC in Edo State, Bello Osaretin, has urged the impeached Deputy Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu, not to contemplate decamping to the party from PDP.
TheNewsZenith reports that Osaretin made this declaration during a discussion programme on TVC.
On the programme, Osaretin raised the possibility of Philip Shaibu joining APC following his impeachment.
“Our leader, Adams Oshiomhole, told Shaibu when he had problems with Obaseki that APC is not a rehabilitation camp for politically displaced people.

“Let him (Philip Shaibu) remain in his PDP and fight his battle there. Good luck to him if he can redeem himself there,” the APC chieftain said.
Rumours about Shaibu, contemplating returning to the APC surfaced online.
This followed a meeting he held with the chairman of APC in Edo State shortly after his impeachment.
