The Israeli military says it has surrounded Gaza City and is pressing forward as Prime Minister Netanyahu vows “we won’t stop” despite international pleas for ceasefire.
The army’s advance is pushing more Palestinians in Gaza City to desperately seek a safe haven, including at al-Shifa Hospital.

Meanwhile, UNRWA says Israeli attacks have damaged four shelters in the last 24 hours.
UNRWA Commissioner, Gen. Philippe Lazzarini, said the attacks targeted as chool at the Jabalia refugee camp, reportedly killing at least 20 people and injuring five.
One child also died in attack on another school at Beach refugee camp in the north of Gaza.
Also, two persons died and 31 injured as Israeli attached two schools in Al Bureij refugee camp.

UNRWA said the schools-turned-shelters that were struck are hosting nearly 20,000 people.
“Since the start of the war on Oct. 7, attacks has impacted nearly 50 UNRWA buildings and assets, with some directly hit.
”Like today’s, this includes UNRWA buildings used as shelters where UNRWA is currently hosting around 700,000 people.
”Twenty-five of these shelters are in northern Gaza, hosting 112,000 people,” Lazzarini said.
A total of 72 UNRWA staff have been killed in the war so far.
In another report, Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said 102 aid trucks have entered Gaza through Rafah border crossing. But no fuel among provisions.
The trucks are carrying “provisions such as food, water, relief supplies, medicines and medical equipment”, PRCS said in a post on X (formerly Twitter).
”But there hasn’t been permission to bring in fuel yet,” it added. (Al Jazeera)
