Authorities of the Nigeria Air Force have approved the posting and redeployment of some senior officers to enhance operational flexibility.
TheNewsZenith reports that the posting is contained in a statement published on the official website of the NAF on Monday.
Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, approved the redeployment. He said the move will inject fresh perspectives and optimise leadership capabilities.
The postings affect branch chiefs, air officers, directors and commanders.
Those affected are Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Olasunkanmi Abidoye, who moved from the Defence Headquarters to NAF Headquarters as the Chief of Standards and Evaluation.
AVM Adeniyi Amesinlola, previously the Commandant at the Armed Forces Resettlement Centre, will now serve as the Chief of Transformation and Innovation at NAF Headquarters.
Also, AVM Abubakar Adamu is the new Group Managing Director of NAFIL Group.
Other deployments include AVM Iboro Etukudo, appointed as the Chief of Policy and Plans; AVM Francis Edosa is now the Chief of Training and Operations while AVM Dalhat Ladan is the Chief of Air Intelligence.
AVM Suleiman Usman is now the Chief of Communication and Information Systems while AVM Sayo Olatunde and AVM Lanre Oluwatoyin will serve as Chief of Defence Policy and Plans and Chief of Defence Space Administration respectively at the Defence Headquarters.

Similarly, AVM Ibikunle Daramola, previously the Chief of Communication and Information Systems becomes the Chief of Civil-Military Relations.
AVM Abiola Amodu, who served as the Director General of the Air Force Research and Development Institute is now the Chief of Aircraft Engineering. AVM Patrick Phillips is the Chief of Logistics.
Additionally, AVM Elijah Ebiowe is the new Air Officer Commanding (AOC) Tactical Air Command in Makurdi while AVM Sunday Aneke takes over as the new AOC Mobility Command in Yenagoa.
Other newly appointed AOCs include AVM Abubakar Abdullahi, now overseeing the Air Training Command in Kaduna and AVM Adeniran Ademuwagun as the AOC Logistics Command in Ikeja.
Air Marshal Abubakar congratulated the new appointees, reiterating the essence of the redeployment.
He said the exercise would allow for strategic flexibility and resource optimisation for enhanced operational effectiveness of the NAF.
The CAS also spoke on the importance of leveraging deep and critical thinking in proffering strategies for addressing current security challenges.
