BUK issues registration guideline for 2023/24 academic session

Authorities of the Bayero University, Kano (BUK) have issued guidelines for the registration of students for the 2023/2024 academic session.

TheNewsZenith reports that Aminu Wada Kurawa, Ag. Director: DEAR announced the guideline in a statement on behalf of the University Registrar, on Monday, in Kano.

According to the statement, all students, whether fresh or returning, must authenticate their studentship before starting the registration process via https://mybuk2.buk.edu.ng/ug/authentication.php.

Screening and registration for fresh students will run from June 3 to July 14.

Requirements for their authentication include the serial number of the admission letter, the JAMB Number and the University Registration Number.

New students should note that the system will automatically generate a username and password for them upon authentication.

After successful authentication, candidates must keep their Username and Password safe and confidential.

BUK Students registration guideline

Registration for returning students runs from June 10  to July 14.

The requirements for their registration include the Registration Number, Last Session’s Username and their JAMB Number

It advised the students to keep their passwords safe and confidential.

For those who have forgotten their usernames. Password Retrieval Page is provided where students are expected to enter their Registration number and JAMB number.

The engine will automatically generate the new Username and Password for them.

After successful authentication, students can use their respective usernames and passwords to log in to start or continue with the registration process.

The statement further explained that the registration procedure includes students updating their profiles.

It strongly advises that they update their phone numbers and emails used on their BUK Personalised Payment Form (BUKPPF).

After the profile update, students can generate, download and print their Student Information Form (SIF), download and print a BUKPPF.

Registration fees are reflected on the student’s BUKPPE, to be paid using the Remita c-Payments and c-Collection platform (visit https://mybuk2.buk.edu.ng/ug/paymentprocedure.php for the payment procedure).
