At least six countries, including Nigeria, have posted safety alerts to their citizens regarding travel to the United Kingdom due to the prevalence of extensive anti-immigration demonstrations throughout the nation.
Over the weekend, numerous protests in Britain escalated into violence as anti-immigration demonstrators confronted law enforcement.
This is following the tragic murder of three children by a teenager the previous week.
Many towns and cities across Britain have experienced significant protests against immigration and Islam since the previous Monday.
The protests arose from an incident in Southport, near Liverpool, where a British teenager of Rwandan heritage fatally stabbed three children and injured ten others.
British Police have arrested more than 400 protesters following riots that have disturbed cities such as Liverpool, Bristol, Manchester, Hull, Belfast, Stoke and several others.
As reported by various media outlets, a minimum of five nations have now provided the United Kingdom travel advisories to their citizens.
Nigeria posted a travel advisory earlier this week, cautioning its citizens intending to travel to the United Kingdom.
The advisory noted that protests in certain areas of the UK have been significant. In some cases, it has become disorderly, indicating a heightened risk of violence and unrest.

Malaysia’s government has also alerted its citizens in the United Kingdom on Sunday. It advised them to “avoid protest areas and exercise caution”.
The Indonesia Embassy in London has issued a similar comparable alert. It advised Indonesian nationals in the UK to exercise caution, particularly when travelling or engaging in activities outside their residences.
They are encouraged to “steer clear of large crowds and locations that may serve as gathering spots for large groups or demonstrators”.
In its warning earlier this week, the Australian Government urged its citizens to “exercise a high degree of caution”.
“Refrain from entering areas where protests are taking place, as there is a risk of disruption and violence,” it stated.
On Monday, the official account of the UAE Embassy in London advised the nation’s citizens to “take appropriate precautions and steer clear of crowded locations”.
India has recently become the latest country to issue a cautionary statement.
On Monday morning, the High Commission of India in London reportedly announced that it is “closely monitoring the situation”.
The Commission advised Indian nationals to “remain vigilant and exercise appropriate caution while travelling in the UK”.
This is as well as to steer clear of any locations where protests might occur.
