The Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, has filed a suit against LP, ADC and PDP to stop them from halting the ongoing collation of the presidential election results.
The election, conducted on Feb. 25 has been a subject of controversy, following the alleged refusal of INEC to upload results to the central server.
Other political parties, citing infractions, pulled out of the collation exercise with a flurry of press conferences on Tuesday.
Sensing that the parties may head to court to halt the process, the APC filed suit against them.
This is with a view to allowing the results collation to continue.

In the suit filed before the Federal High Court in Kano and marked FHC/KN/CS/43/2023, Tinubu joined the AA and INEC as defendants.
The Vice Presidential candidate of the APC, Kashim Shettima, was also listed as a plaintiff.
The plaintiffs, filing the order in a motion on notice alongside the originating summons, seek the court to restrain the defendants from stopping the collation.
He is also seeking an order for the defender to make an announcement of the results.
“Damages will not adequately compensate for the injury on the plaintiffs if the defendants stop the collation”.
