The Vice-Chancellor of Fountain University, Prof. Olayinka Ramota Karim has received two prestigious awards for outstanding leadership and service.
TheNewsZenith reports that Taoheed Alimi, the University’s Public Relations Officer, announced the awards in a press statement on Tuesday.
According to the statement, the Osogbo Rotary Club presented Karim with the Excellence Service Award, recognizing her dedication to excellence and selfless service to humanity.
On the same day, the Compatriots of the University of Ilorin presented her with an Award of Felicitation.
This is to celebrate her trailblazing leadership as the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and her historic appointment as the first female Vice-Chancellor of Fountain University.

Reacting to the development, the Registrar of Fountain University, Mr Adenekan Sherrif expressed the University Community’s delight in the well-deserved award.
“Her leadership and service have made a profound impact on our institution. And we are grateful for her tireless efforts to promote academic excellence and community engagement,” Sherrif added.
The awards underscore the VC’s unalloyed commitment to academic excellence, innovative leadership and community service.
