Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will, on Tuesday, begin the presentation of Certificates of Return to elected members of the National Assembly.
Chairman of INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu announced this at a meeting with Resident Electoral Commissioners (RECs) in Abuja on Saturday.
Yakubu said that the commission would present certificates to senators-elect on Tuesday, March 7.
It will be the turn of the House of Representatives members-elect to receive theirs on Wednesday, March 8.
“However, for effective crowd management, each Senator/Member-elect should come with a maximum of two guests.
“The commission will upload a comprehensive list of all members-elect to the Commission’s website shortly,” Yakubu said.

In the last Saturday’s elections, the commission declared winners for 423 national legislative seats.
The INEC boss added that the commission would hold supplementary elections in 46 constituencies.
Yakubu said INEC had declared 98 out of 109 seats in the Senate.
He added that seven political parties have won senatorial seats while eight parties won 325 out of 360 Reps seats.
“About party representation, this is the most diverse national assembly since 1999 as can be seen below:
“In the Senate APC 57, APGA one, LP six, NNPP two, PDP 29, SDP two and YPP one.
“For the House of Representatives, ADC two, APC 162, APGA four, LP 34, NNPP 18, PDP 102, SDP two, YPP one,” Yakubu said.
